Ministry of Health Vancouver, Victoria (Hybrid) Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement. Senior Policy Analyst $83,313.83 - $95,028.45 annually which includes a 3.3% Temporary Market Adjustment The Primary Care Division sets the foundation for the delivery of high-quality health services by establishing patient-centered policy for the delivery of provincial health care. The division monitors quality assurance in the system, designs service delivery models that meet the needs of patients and works with service delivery partners on key actions and quality improvement initiatives. The successful applicant will coordinate and lead the research, analysis, development and implementation of strategic policies and legislation for a significant ministry program. Experience | Qualifications for this role include: - Master's degree (preferred) in public administration, health administration, social sciences, business administration, or a related field and a minimum of three (3) years progressive, recent and related experience; OR - Bachelor's degree in public administration, health administration, social sciences, business administration, or a related field and four (4) years progressive, recent and related experience; OR - Diploma in public administration, health administration, social sciences, business administration, or a related field and five (5) years progressive, recent and related experience; OR - An equivalent combination of education and six (6) years of progressive, recent and related experience. Preference may be given to applicants with the following: - Experience in the health sector or social science field. - Applicants who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Metis or Inuit). |
