Sadek Medical Incorporation, a premier provider of comprehensive ADHD care and support, is seeking a dedicated Medical Office Administrator. Join our dynamic team to support our mission of delivering exceptional mental health services. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our office runs smoothly, providing administrative support to our staff and patients. Main Duties:
Schedule and confirm medical appointments and communicate messages for medical staff and patients.
Enter and format electronic medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
Interview patients to complete forms, documents, and case histories.
Complete insurance/claim forms & prepare financial statements.
Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
Establish and maintain various internal office administrative support procedures such as document tracking, filing, and monthly reporting.
Order supplies and maintain inventory.
Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
May supervise and train other staff in procedures and use of current software.

Employment Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience required.
- Experience using Med Access, JANE app & ACCURO EMR, or similar systems.
- 2-3 years of experience working in a similar capacity

Skills and Qualifications:
Strong medical office experience: Prior experience working in healthcare settings, particularly in mental health or psychiatric practices, is essential for familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills: Juggling multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and maintaining a well-organized office.
Proficiency in medical office software: Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, scheduling software, and medical billing systems.
Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
Attention to detail: Precision in handling patient records, prescriptions, and insurance information.
Knowledge of medical billing and insurance procedures: Familiarity with insurance claims, coding, and billing processes specific to psychiatric care.
Discretion and confidentiality: Strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Adaptability and problem-solving skills: Ability to handle unexpected situations, manage difficult patients, and resolve issues independently.
Experience in appointment scheduling and management: Skill in efficiently managing a psychiatrist's calendar, including prioritizing urgent cases and maintaining a smooth patient flow.
Familiarity with mental health resources: Knowledge of local mental health services, support groups, and resources can help assist patients and the psychiatrist.
