FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Under the direction of the Dance Academy Director, the Education Assistant Coordinator will provide administrative and organizational support and act as the Company's representative coordinating Jorgen Dance Academy Summer Programs. The Education Assistant Coordinator will be executing the coordination, the logistics, the registration and ensuing follow-up communications for the following education programs: Summer Dance IV, III, II, I as well as assist with set-ups for other department programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Post-secondary education in Dance/Arts and/or Arts Administration
Ability to work with children, youth and adults with confidence
Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
Experience working on the back-end of websites
Accurate data entry and tracking skills, Excel & Database work, Raisers Edge experience an asset
Able to work with confidential information, excellent and detailed organizational skills
Pleasant, confident and affable telephone and email manner
Ability to follow directions and work unsupervised
French language and a driver's license are assets

Employment Length
8 Weeks (June 24, 2024- August 18, 2024).

Hours:
35 hr/week including some agreed upon weekend/evening work. The work is in person on site at our George Brown College Casa Loma Campus office and studios. Remote check-ins scheduled for some after-hours work.

COMPENSATION
Compensation is $17/hr.
