Opportunity

TC Energy is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who will provide full cycle maintenance activities to our fleet of Dassault Falcon 2000EX-easy, Gulfstream G-150 and ensure all work is in accordance with the requirements of the Canadian Aviation Regulations, Company Maintenance & Control Manual and the Aircraft/Engine Manufacturers. This position is based out of Calgary Alberta, reporting to the Chief Engineer, Corp Aviation.

 

What you'll do

  • Maintain, repair, inspect, clean and troubleshoot standard maintenance problems of company aircraft and their related subcomponents
  • Certifies airworthiness and releases aircraft for flight, subject to approval of Senior Aircraft Engineer/Inspector
  • Maintain current certification for authority of license through recurrent training, which is paid by TransCanada
  • Assume all technical and legal responsibility for maintenance completed, by signing a release statement for maintenance completed
  • Ensures that all work is in compliance with pertinent aircraft service bulletins, airworthiness directives and manual revisions
  • Other tasks as required.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized Aircraft Technical Institution
  • Holds an M2 AME license
  • Minimum of 10 years industry experience with at least 3 on business jets.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
  • A commitment to Health, Safety and environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Strong abilities to manage multiple priorities
  • Versatility in completing tasks in preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Flexible work schedule with some travel
  • Strong computer skills for both office and aircraft systems.

 

*This position requires candidates to:

  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license and valid Canadian Passport
  • Provide a driver's abstract for review
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing.
