In this position, you will provide assistance to the Capital Advisors and act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders during the completion of important network planning activities, including the financial modeling, project research, and asset optimization processes. You will be uniquely positioned to participate in the strategic growth and planning of our physical asset networks across Canada.

You will use your expertise to:

• Participate in retail and wholesale asset reviews and improvement processes
• Support the development of project economics reports to facilitate decision-making processes
• Oversee quantitative research related to the project development process
• Conduct and steward Projects such as Post Investment Review and Growth Plan(s)
• Support and assist Capital Advisor in completing real estate development investment decisions
• Develop supporting materials and reports for the Capital Advisors

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

• Current enrolment in 3rd or 4th year of a full-time Business degree at an accredited post-secondary institution, and returning to full-time studies after the work term

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite

Preference for:

• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and other Microsoft Office suite applications
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to internal and external audiences
• A self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset who is results oriented and motivated by accuracy

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other meaningful information:

• You will work out of our Oakville office, located at 3275 Rebecca Street
• Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
• This is a 4 or 8-month work term, from starting in September 2019
