Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.

Reporting to the Director or Chief of Management, the incumbent of this position is responsible for the engineering design and integration of Data Network solutions meeting needs expressed by the client.

Main Responsibilities

• Collect information related to telecommunication needs expressed by the client.  Analyze and recommend solutions
• Design engineering for solution solutions for projects.  Produce drawings and specifications for achievement of tasks related to the selected solution. Make sure of good solution integration in the customer environment and processes
• Prepare configurations  to be implemented by Operations team
• Participate during implementations maintenance windows when required
• Document solutions specifications to help the Operations team in managing the client network
• Prepare the transition to allow a handover to the Operations team
• Coordinate technical tasks required for the implementation of the solution chosen by the client.  Provide follow-up to ensure terms of specifications are complied with plan.
• Produce plans for new solution introduction tests.  Ensure technical testing is made and ensure corrections of anomalies
• Tack in charge, when required, complex problems resolution

Critical qualifications/competencies

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering with major in Telecommunications or equivalent.
• Minimum of  five (5)  years experience in the Telecommunication domain
• Excellent knowledge of Cisco Network solutions
• Excellent knowledge of Security Services and products
• Solid experience in Telecom projects delivery
• Good experience in Load Balancing
• Capacity to act as an integrator for solutions with multiple technologies
• Solid interest in increasing his knowledge and expertise
• Autonomy and great aptitude in managing his time and priorities
• Excellent French communication (verbal and written)
• Client-oriented

Preferred qualifications/competencies

• Certifications on Cisco
• Experience and knowledge of automation will be a solid asset
• Knowledge of automation will be a solid asset
• Experience in the Operations of data networks  environments
• knowledge and experience  of  Security products
• Experience with Juniper and Palo Alto
• Expérience in Networks Operations
