The Opportunity Our Rockyview, AB location is currently looking for an experienced a Hydro Vac Operator to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating units in performing Daylighting excavation activities associated with pipeline, construction, utility, and oil terminal work. Key Responsibilities: - Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Drive and operate Hydro Vac units;
- Completing tasks associated with daylighting excavation, trenching and shoring;
- Rigging equipment in and out;
- Performs pre and post trip inspections;
- Maintains and updates driver’s log book;
- Complete all required paperwork on a daily basis;
- General clean-up and maintenance of units upon completion of the job.
What does it take to work for Lonestar? - Class 3 or 1 License with clean 5-year record;
- 6+ months of Hydro Vac experience is preferred;
- Previous experience in a labour intensive position is required (i.e. oil and gas, industrial etc.);
- Valid safety tickets are preferred (i.e. First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Arrest).
