The Opportunity

Our Calgary, AB facility is currently looking for a  Directional Boring Driver to join our team. This position is responsible to operate and drive equipment as well as mixing mud on site along with other site labor related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes;
  • Operate and drive equipment to and from work sites;
  • Operate one or more of the following equipment types: Water Truck; Picker Truck; Van Truck; Winch Tractor; any of the previous trucks connected to trailers hauling directional drills, mud systems, drill stem or other drill support equipment or tooling;
  • Perform pre/post Trip inspections;
  • Perform roadside repairs when needed;
  • Mix drilling mud on site;
  • Log driving information as required.


What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • Experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repairs;
  • Class 1 or Class 3 license with clean abstract;
  • Experience in directional boring;
  • Experience in a labor-intensive role;
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
