Our Chambly, QC facility has an immediate opening for a Hazardous Waste Equipment Operator. This position performs hands on operations such as using excavator, drum crushing, tank farm operations and offloading trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Operates excavator, forklift, and oil filter crusher machine
- Drives yard trucks and assists with backing up vans as required
- Sampling of tankers and drums
- Prepares bulk wastes for shipment to other Safety-Kleen, Clean Harbors and/or 3rd party locations
- Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements
- Warehouse and inventory duties as required
- Ensures that loading and unloading areas are cleaned and organized at all times.
What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen? - Previous heavy equipment experience preferred
- Hazardous materials work experience preferred
- Forklift experience considered an asset
- Must be willing to work days and evenings
- Valid class 5 License, clean 5-year drivers abstract
- Dependable and detail-oriented
