A great opportunity to take the next step in your career The Ministry of Forests is the province's agency responsible for land and resource management in B.C., which includes the protection of the province's archaeological and heritage resources. The mission of the Forest Improvement and Research Management Branch is to enhance the value, resilience, and conservation of BC's Forest genetic resources. The Seed Production section manages five provincial seed orchards which currently produce 55% of the improved tree seed supply and are operated on a cost recovery basis. The seed orchard cone picker position is responsible for picking cones on orchard trees. | |
