Job Responsibilities Canada Post is anticipating openings for students to work in the following areas of business: The list includes: - Environmental Policy and Corporate Social Responsibility - Finance/Accounting/Pension - Business Administration/Commerce - Real Estate, Environment, and Sustainability - Management Information Systems and Computer Science - Security & Investigations - Communications/ Public Relations/Marketing - Engineering - Human Resources/Labour Relations - Health & Safety - Sourcing & Procurement - Operations Job Responsibilities (continued) Qualifications Education Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (preferred) Specific education and year of study may be required depending on the student role Experience No experience required Other Candidate Requirements - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) - Can work effectively in different situations and/or with different people - Excellent written / verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills - Can work collaboratively in a team environment - Can exercise sound judgment - Various technical skills based on business area requirements - Various linguistic profiles dependent on position Eligibility To be eligible for the Summer Student Employment program, you must meet the following criteria: - Study in one of the Corporation's areas of business mentioned above - Have completed your first year of University, College or Cegep, and - Be enrolled for the following year | |
