The Senior Producer, assigned to coordinating, is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of CBC Nunavut and Nunavik radio programs.

They ensure that program story assignments are made, followed, and tracked as required for the programs.

They ensure that our story efforts are coordinated with web, radio and tv, between our various programs, and with the Assignment Producer to ensure we are on track with the development and progression of stories.

- Determines story placement, if required or where there may be a conflict between programs.
- Helps identify stories and chases that have potential video, web and TV possibilities and co-ordinates with those producers.
- Participates in daily story meeting, and does check-in calls with the Rankin Inlet and Kuujjuaq programs; keeps track of the daily chase lists for radio programs and the outlook file.
- Works with shows and the Qulliq producer to identify the need for more in-depth journalistic work and works with radio hosts and producers get the help they may need.
- Plays a leadership role in identifying and developing special projects for our sub-region.
- Works with the Qulliq producer to ensure show lineups are complete. This may include booking, recording, and editing interviews or other segments for the program, writing intros and scripts, and occasionally backfilling for the Qulliq producer.
- Provides feedback to staff working on the programs and works with the Area Manager to establish regular program reviews.

QULLIQ producer:

- Keeper of the vision for the morning show.
- Works closely with Senior Producer.
- Oversees story selection, production, line-up, vets scripts for interviews, music selection.
- Works with coordinating producer and other staff in our sub-region and elsewhere in the north on stories for the show.
- Oversees daily story contributions for the program.
- Books, records, and edits interviews; writes/vets intros and other material for the program.
- Ensures preparation of lineup and filing of daily program logs.
- Provides feedback to program hosts.
- Identifies possible video, web, social media treatments for morning show stories.
