| RIGHT CHOICE Camps & Catering is recruiting for Housekeepers to work in our various locations in North western Alberta. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of bedrooms, washrooms, hallways and laundry rooms. Key Responsibilities: • General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing • Making beds and changing sheets as per the daily schedule • Cleaning washers, dryers and laundry room • Sanitizing washrooms including shower stalls, shower mats, sinks, toilets, and floors • Report any damage, theft and abandoned articles in rooms to the Supervisor • Follow all company, job and client-specific safety protocols and OH&S legislation Qualifications: • Minimum High School Diploma • Minimum 1 year of related Housekeeping and Janitorial experience in a remote camp environment is preferred • Ability to work physically and regularly lift up to 50 lb. • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team • Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines • Ability to interact professionally with customers and co-workers • Strong focus on safety and quality of work • Ability to travel and work within Western Alberta on a 21 day on and 7 day off rotation which includes nights, weekends and holidays We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status or any other characteristic protected by law. | |
