| Toronto IBI is looking for an enthusiastic individual to work in the position of a Centre-Based ABA/IBI Instructor Therapist- job post at its location at 1170 Sheppard Ave W, Unit 32,Toronto M3K 2A3. Type: Permanent, full time position; Overtime: will apply after 44 hours per week @ 1.5 times the wage Education: A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field Job Responsibilities: -Create customized education and intervention plans based on the client's special needs in order to facilitate their re adaptation and independence goals. -Implement IBI programs -Assess individuals in areas such as physical limitations, orientation and mobility skills, and cognitive, social, and emotional barriers in order monitor clients' progress and effectiveness of individualized programs -Record and graph treatment data -Write reports and progress notes -Flag exceptional circumstances in regards to changes to the program -Work collaboratively with parents and team members in the treatment planning process -Maintain regular communication with parents as required -Participate in scheduled team meetings and training conferences as required Desired skills and Experience -Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and time management skills -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Ability to work collaboratively with other team members -Experience working with autism spectrum disorder -Minimum of one year experience as an Instructor Therapist (IT) implementing ABA/IBI programming -Must be vaccinated | |
