Sun Peaks Resort LLP is looking for a full-time Retail, Rental & Repair Supervisor (NOC 6211-B)! This is a full-time, permanent position.

Job Description:
• Supervision of Elevation Bike Ski & Board (EBSB) sales, rental, and repair staff, including – hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, coaching and motivation.
• Scheduling shifts and assigning duties to staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels in line with events calendar.
• Authorize rental payments and the return of rentals and equipment
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
• Key holder responsible for the opening and closing of EBSB and management of the security system, including the arming and disarming.
• Keeping up-to-date on the latest industry trends, anticipating changes in the market and assessing the performance of new products before committing to purchase.
• Responsible for ensuring the safe operation of rental bikes through regular inspection and supervision of daily maintenance.
• Liaise with bicycle service centers and technical representatives on matters pertaining to the maintenance and repair of rental and customers bicycles.
• Assuming managerial responsibilities in the event of management absentees.
• Responding to e-mails and phone calls
• To create an atmosphere for our guests and employees that is positive, rewarding, and fun, while ensuring we meet or exceed company and departmental goals.
• To ensure all areas of the shop including storage, guest areas, behind counter spaces, and staff areas are kept immaculately clean and organized.
• To be accessible to all employees during operational hours to help in problem-solving, guest concerns, or policy enforcement.
• Planning and implementation of rental procedures and policies.
• To research and plan changes in rental procedures to meet the expectations of our guests.
• Ensuring all employees follow all procedures involving appearance, dress codes and policies at all times.
• Maintain staff discipline; implement warnings as necessary.
• Provide excellence in guest service.
• Ensure EBSB is kept stocked and in show ready condition at all times.
• Maximize daily outlet sales and strive to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Ensure all Sun Peaks Resort LLP policies are adhered to as outlined in the current Employee handbook.
• EMS (Environmental Management System) & ISO 14001 awareness.

Salary$41,600/annum for 37.5 hours per week
Education RequirementsMinimum completion of secondary school
ExperienceMinimum 2-3 years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service
Previous experience in bicycle, ski, or snowboard rental is an asset
LanguagesLanguage in the workplace is English
