Description
The Department of Economics in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2022. Fields open.

At Waterloo, you will have the opportunity to work across disciplines and collaborate with an international community of scholars and a diverse student body, situated in a rapidly growing community that has been termed a “hub of innovation.” Duties include research, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentorship and supervision of graduate and undergraduate students, and service to the Department, University, and profession.

The fields of specialization for the positions are open, but the department is particularly interested in theory and in applied econometrics.

The successful candidate must have a PhD in Economics completed by the date of their appointment to the University of Waterloo. Evidence of an actively developing research program is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for high quality research and strong potential for excellence in teaching.
