Job Description:
Permanent and Full Time Position For Production Supervisor.

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months experience is required.
Minimum Education: High School
Benefits: overtime will be paid after 34 hours.

Duties include:
• Implement and oversee high throughput tissue cultured plant production to meet scheduled delivery timelines.
• Provide training new technicians; supervise tissue culture production employees.
• Lead to the initiation process, train technicians and provide necessary requirements to continue initiate new strains.
• Manage related equipment and related service schedules for grow rooms, autoclaves, hoods etc.
• Provide the guideline to prepare media by the media preparation team.
• Maintain safe working environment for all production employees.
• Do the weekly productions schedule/ planning.
• Ensure that the laboratory is kept in a clean and good operating condition, including working with outside vendors as needed.
• Ensure staff compliance with standard operating procedures and best practices for laboratory.
• Oversee inventory and receiving of laboratory supplies and management of chemicals, consumables, freezer stocks, etc.
• Maintain a high level of organization within the laboratory including records of internal stocks of specialized reagents and experimental samples, inventory of consumable supplies and tracking of equipment.
• Track and organize preventative maintenance, calibration and any troubleshooting of equipment.
• Coordinate removal of hazardous waste by external vendors.
• Coordinate lab shipments to/from company while maintaining safe shipping and handling standards.
• Serve as safety coordinator and primary lab emergency contact.
• Enforce compliance with safety and lab procedures among all lab personnel.
