What you’ll do: - Ensure compliance with governance and investment policies - Review statements and reports from fund managers and partners - Process transactions related to capital calls, distributions and new investments - Prepare and enhance reporting for oversight committees - Conduct due diligence, monitor fund performance and prepare new investment business proposals - Develop and maintain related policies, supplemental reporting and governance information - Build relationships with external partners What we’re looking for: - Analytical thinker who understands investment performance and policies - Relationship builder comfortable collaborating with internal and external partners - Confident communicator with sound judgment - Detail-oriented team player committed to completing work accurately while managing multiple priorities What you’ll need: - A bachelor’s degree in business, finance or economics and at least three years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience); enrolment in or completion of a professional designation is an asset - In-depth understanding of investment or financial management - Knowledge of the venture capital industry and the Canadian agriculture investment ecosystem | |
