La Ropa Textiles located at 7300 Torbram Road, Mississauga, Ontario dealing in the import and export of used clothing, shoes and general merchandise urgently require:

1 highly motivated & self-driven Sales Supervisor with a strong passion for sales to develop sales strategies and attract new clients

1 skilled Machinist for our high compression machines used to manufacture bales and

2 Warehouse Supervisors who are hardworking, organized, dedicated and capable of promoting and maintaining a conducive warehouse environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse policies, procedures and protocols are diligently followed.

Job Type: Permanent, full time positions

Salary for Sales Supervisor: $18 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week

Salary for Machinist: $24 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week

Salary for Warehouse Supervisor: $24.04 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week

Education RequirementsEducational Requirements for Sales Supervisor: Secondary schooling

Education requirements for Machinist: Secondary School graduation required, Mechanical technical program or any apprentice program.

Education requirement for Warehouse Supervisor: Secondary school
Essential SkillsDuties & Responsibilities – Sales Supervisor
• Supervise the sales operations of the sales team by directing, managing, motivating & setting a vision for the team;
• Implement strategies to maximize sales & revenue and build customer base;
• Responsible for lead generation, negotiations, closing deals and post sales service;
• Supervise and oversee the maintenance of customer databases;
• Recruit, interview, hire and train sales personnel;
• Interact with customers to boost customer confidence;
• Address and solve customer queries;
• Resolve work related problems; supply shortages and relay information to management;
• Maintain inventory and approve contracts with vendors;
• Prepare sales reports;
• Coordinate shipping of products;
• Provide regular fee back to management on all matters;
• Monitor and manage sales expenses within the allotted budget;
• Provide support to the sales associates to close deals;
• Assign sales territories and set sales quotas for the sales associates;

Duties & Responsibilities – Machinist
• Set up and operate a wide variety of machine tools drills and saws;
• Set up machines and machine parts according to engineering specifications;
• Use a variety of measuring devices such as verniers and micrometers;
• Assess the workspace and work required to ensure the work is performed in the safest manner possible;
• Perform other manual machining operations such as tapping, grinding and honing in order to machine the part to acceptable standards;
• Safely operate hand tools;
• Ensure proper maintenance of machines;
• Fit, assemble and install machine components and parts according to specifications using hand and power tools;
• Set up and program machine tools for use by machining operators;
• Adjust machine components to regulated speeds, pressures, temperatures, dimensions and flow of materials;
• Complete equipment inspection reports and maintain inspection records
ExperienceExperience & Skills – Sales Supervisor:
• 1-2 years experience with proven sales results;
• Ability to assess client needs & establish rapport;
• Strong negotiation and communication skills;
• Excellent customer service

Experience & skills – Machinist
• 2-3 years experience;
• Interpret and understand drawings;
• Use precision measuring instruments;
• Identify and remedy all problems with programming, and tooling;
• Must be adaptable, flexible, accountable and dependable with good attention to detail;
• Good mechanical skills and knowledge of all safety procedures

Experience– Warehouse Supervisor
1-2 years supervisory experience

Additional SkillsDuties & Responsibilities – Warehouse Supervisor
• Direct, control and supervise all shipping, distribution and warehousing;
• Supervise the sorting and grading of goods that arrive at the warehouse;
• Maintain storage area by organizing the floor space to achieve full space optimization;
• Maintain inventory of goods received and goods leaving warehouse through regular inbound and outbound audits;
• Schedule the receipt and delivery of goods;
• Prepare work schedules;
• Prepare and submit regular reports to Management;
• Develop and monitor productivity standards;
