| The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo urgently invites applications for a tenure track position. We are seeking a promising researcher working in the broad area of cyberphysical systems and its application to automotive vehicles. Areas of interest include embedded systems, computer systems, robotics, dependability and security. We are particularly interested in candidates that have demonstrated systems work, such as open source software projects, or experimental work with hardware platforms, e.g., connected or autonomous vehicles. It is anticipated that the position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. In exceptional cases, an appointment at the rank of Associate Professor will be considered. |

| Salary | $100,000 To $150,000 |
| Credentials | The successful candidate will be required to have an engineering license for practice in Canada or to apply for an engineering license or limited engineering license within five years. |
| Education Requirements | Applicants must have a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline. |
