Duties: Reporting to the Chair of Applied Commerce and Management Education, the Instructor will be responsible to teach business related courses, which may include courses in the Financial Services area. Courses may include the subject areas of personal and business banking, personal financial planning, investment or insurance. Courses may be delivered online or in class for both the Notre Dame Campus and The Exchange District Campus. Duties will include the preparation of course materials and examinations, instruction of students and evaluation of course materials. Duties related to instructing include: curriculum development and maintenance, preparing course outlines, maintaining student records, student evaluation, assisting in college activities including student orientation, graduation, and relevant committees.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in finance or business related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Significant and progressive experience in financial services in a client advisory role
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Significant experience with Microsoft Office suite applications
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience working remotely
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Ability to work in an online environment

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate degree (MBA)
- Professional Certification CFP or similar
- Experience instructing at a post-secondary institution
- Certificate in Adult Education
- Experienced with online course development and alternative teaching methodology
- Experience with Client Relationship Management and Financial Planning software

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Instructors are required to complete a Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- May be required to work at various RRC campuses
