Titan Truck & Trailer Repairs Inc., located at 5890 Shawson Drive, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 3W5, is looking for Welder on permanent full-time position. No. of Vacancy of this position: 1 Duties and Responsibilities of Welder- (NOC 72106): - Read and interpret welding blueprints, welding maintenance process specifications of on-site machineries - Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment - Operate automatic set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal - Use metal shaping machines such as brake presses, drill presses, shears to cut and other metal straightening and bending machines in repairing worn parts - Ensure all machineries operate properly before handing over to responsible department - Ability to work with different equipment's to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc, flux-cored arc, shielded metal arc, and oxygen-acetylene - Welding of major or minor truck and trailer damages - Determine weldability of materials and repair worn parts by welding on extra layers - Operate hoisting and lifting equipment - Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. - Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications - Maintain performance standards and comply with safety regulations | |
