Highlights of this opportunity:
- Track, monitor and report on programming commitments and Canada Media Fund (CMF) programs;
- Assist with tracking and optimizing OFR and Total Hours Tuned;
- Liaise with CMF and accesses CMF Dialogue database;
- Forecast spending for CMF envelopes each year;
- Prepare annual data-heavy CMF Total Hours Tuned report using NLogic/Infosys;
- Initiate and manage annual inter-departmental renewal process' for television programs;
- Draft Request for Proposals (RFPs) and maintain current Programming Department Guideline documents;
- Oversee APTN website producer section;
- Evaluate and analyze technical, creative and financial aspects of programming proposals;
- Provide strategic and critical analysis on programming, broadcast and industry trends;
- Oversee the annual CRTC report;
- Ensure compliance with funding bodies' submission deadlines;
- Assist with developing annual strategic plans for data review and analysis.

Your accomplishments and experience include:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (broadcasting, film or television production or distribution, or statistics/analytics) combined with proven related experience;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Broadcasting knowledge is an asset;
- Experience with Canada Media Fund programs and policies is an asset.
