| Vacancies: 70 Terms of employment: Seasonal, Full time , Day, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning (06:00 to 15:00) Job requirements Specific Skills Plant trees using manual planting tools in reforestation areas, Operate power thinning saw to thin and space trees in reforestation areas, Perform other silviculture duties duties such as collecting seed cones and pruning trees, Manual forest fire fighting under direction of J.D. Irving LTD staff, Care and maintenance of equipment required for job Work Site Environment Outdoors; Wet/damp; Odours; Hot; Cold/refrigerated, Temperatures can vary from 0 to 30 degrees Celsius, Rough terrain, uneven ground, Exposure to insects (mosquitoes, bees, wasps), JDI Staff will be onsite and available to help ensure workers understand job safety procedures are followed Transportation/Travel Information Travel expenses paid by employer Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding, Fit to work in repetitive manual labour job Work Location Information Rural area; Staff accommodation available; Various locations Benefits: Accommodations provided, if necessary, for a fee – details on fee below Meals provided for remote accommodation living Transportation to and from job site is provided at no cost Travel Expenses provided if candidates are willing to relocate to remote site work-camps Production bonus available for exceeding production targets.
