|Reporting to the Director, Learning & Performance the Learning Solutions Business Partner acts as an internal learning consultant for all divisions and departments of the organization by developing and delivering performance-focused learning and development solutions to align employees and teams with business goals, strategies, and change initiatives to in turn cultivate profitable growth, drive operational excellence, propel social impact, and foster organizational capabilities. |
Analyze, design, develop, and execute companywide learning initiatives that drive organizational performance and efficiency, build employee engagement and company branding.
Recruit, lead, develop and mentor a high performing team of business champions/ SMEs to deliver and exceed expectations while coaching staff to realize their learning and development goals.
Work cross-functionally and across all levels. Negotiate and influence key stakeholders in achieving the best learning outcomes for ACU that contribute to the advancement of ACU's strategic plan.
Develop, recommend and implement learning strategies and roadmaps to improve overall learning quality by leveraging technology and internal resources
Lead learning initiatives, including full cycle needs analysis and implementation, and guide managers on aligning learning and team development with values-based banking and the ACU brand.
Identify, develop and implement projects and programs to ensure that ACU receives best learning solutions
Participate in the management of UKG processes and systems including logistics, design, administration, communication, implementation, training, reporting and analysis and on-going support.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training activities, including behaviour change and business impact and make improvements based on findings.
Develop and maintain industry contacts and credit union partners to collaborate with, share expertise and support the credit union system
Support the delivery of other People Solutions and operational projects as required.
Create and integrate change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement, ensuring smooth adoption of changes impacting employees and the organization
Embed diversity and inclusion appropriately in learning solution design to ensure values alignment.
Develop and lead learning projects to align with organizational direction and strategic initiatives
Manage and monitor ongoing learning initiatives to ensure values alignment.
Identify initiatives to advance the knowledge, skill and understanding of role requirements.
Maintain professional confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Ensure that all Learning Solutions programs and processes are implemented in a manner that supports the organization's Mission, Vision, and values-based banking.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment and identify initiatives to advance learning application
Keep current on learning and development best practices, industry trends and potential problems, issues and changes in the financial services industry, and other external forces.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors' degree, accompanied by at least 5 years of Learning and Development experience.
The Program Development for Adult Learners (PDAL) or equivalent relevant formal certification is required.
Certifications obtained through online education or open online resources will be considered an asset
Strategic thinker with the demonstrated ability to understand business goals, develop and implement new approaches, learning methodologies that yield business improvement.
Strong systems and design thinking skills with an ability to deliver with a vision
Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills with the ability and passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust, and build long-lasting relationships and influence at all levels within a diverse work environment
Experience and comfort with a fast-paced, complex work environment, and the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities simultaneously, capable of delivering results.

Strong influence and persuasion skills capable of initiating and driving change in alignment with strategic direction
