Position Available: 1 Work Location: 9385 120 Street Suite 108, Delta, BC V4C 0B5 Terms of Employment: Full-time and Permanent Job Duties: • Recommend a hair style that would suit the clients’ physical features. • Perform the different processes in hair maintenance and styling i.e. cut, taper, curl, trim and wave. • Determine style from client's instructions and preferences. • Apply hair extensions. • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to color, frost or streak hair. • Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair. • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces May shampoo and rinse hair. • May train or supervise other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices and helpers. • Shave and trim beards and moustaches. • Shampoo hair and provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and may also provide scalp conditioning massages. • May perform receptionist duties and May book appointments and order supplies. | Education Requirements | Completion of Secondary School is required. Completion of a two or three-year hairstyling apprenticeship program or completion of a college or other program in hairstyling is required. |
| Experience | 1-2 Years experience would be an asset |
| Languages | Should be good in English Communication: excellent in written and oral communication |
