| Post Office Assistant (permanent, part-time) Work in retail mail operations ... in White River, ON Earn $16.71 per hour as you serve the people in your community in this permanent, part-time customer service position with potential for full-time employment. Using a customer-focused approach when providing counter services to customers, you will: • Sell postal products and services to the business community and the public • Sort, distribute and process mail • Provide customers with information and forms • Handle delivery and service difficulties so that problems are resolved thoroughly and quickly. Job requirements (education and work experience): • High school or provincial equivalency or experience in business administration • Training or experience interacting with the public in a retail or service environment, including sales and cash transactions • An understanding of accounting systems • Physical ability to lift mail containers weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb), push and pull boxes, sort mail and stand for extended periods of time • Proficiency in English Ready to explore your career potential?
