Full-Time, Term Position Available

Duties: Reporting to the Chair of Aboriginal Education and ACCESS Programs, the instructor is responsible for delivering math and science content in the College Transition Program. Red River College recognizes the significant role of our instructors who coach, encourage, mentor, and shape the lives and futures of our students. The primary responsibilities are to deliver high quality instruction, develop relevant and current lessons, plan and develop course materials using adult learning principles, and use various assessment methods to evaluate student learning. It is also important to: participate in college activities, build positive relationships, respect individual ways of knowing, and collaborate to achieve positive outcomes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Education; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience teaching adults Math and Science in a classroom setting
- Effective written communication skills
- Strong oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Demonstrated leadership skills

- Commitment to lifelong learning

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
