Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time Number of positions: 1 Employment Conditions Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime Employment groups: Employment groups Indigenous peoples, Newcomers to Canada, Persons with disabilities, Students Employer Address/ Location of Work: 11 Morrow Road, Barrie, ON L4N 3V7 Canada Job Requirements Education Secondary (High) school graduation certificate Experience Experience for 1 year or more as a sewing machine operators supervisor required Specific Skills/ Job Duties as Sewing Machine Operators' Supervisor; Set up machines and equipment; Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies; Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality; Prepare production and other reports; Establish methods to meet work schedules; Establish work schedules; Co-ordinate work activities with other departments; Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies; Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers Weight Handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Workers Supervised Sewing machine operators; Labourers in textile processing; Fabric, fur and leather cutters Work Site Environment Noisy; Dusty; Hot Transportation/Travel Information Public transportation is available Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Manual dexterity; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Sitting; Combination of sitting, standing, walking Ability to Supervise 5-10 people Work Location Information Urban area | |
