| Lethbridge Iron Works Company Ltd. is in need of Millwright Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and routine maintenance of various plant machinery and equipment, including power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. 2. Utilize the onsite Preventative Maintenance EAM program to complete assigned work, and enter new requests for repairs, parts, follow-up work, etc. 3. Installation and retrofitting of complex production equipment, fabricating and welding as required. 4. Optimize equipment safety, efficiency, and reliability participating in continuous improvement projects and complete works according to PM schedules. 5. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills: 1. Ability to understand and follow instructions 2. Organized, detail oriented, strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills 3. Strong English communication (oral and written) skills 4. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team 5. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure 6. Physically fit and be able to lift 50 lbs or above Experience and Education Requirements: 1. Completion of secondary school is required; Journeyman millwright is considered an asset but not required. 2. Minimum of 2 years industrial mechanical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (Foundry preferred) Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, Shift works: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, 10:00 pm - 6:00 am, 2 weeks rotation with 2 varied days off per week Wage/Benefit: - $38.00/hour - Dental, Pension, Disability and Extended Medical Insurance after 3 months of employment Work Location: 720 32 Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada T1H 5K5 | |
