A professional family in Woodbridge, Vaughan, ON requires an experienced local Nanny/ Child Caregiver with recent relevant, paid childcare work experience to care for their young child and supervise her activities while parents are away at work.

Employer: M. Mukherjee & Dr. S. Mukherjee

Major intersection: Pine valley Drive & Highway 7

Days Off: Two Days Off Per Week as per Employer's work schedule.

Optional Accommodation (Free furnished room with a lock on the door for privacy and all meals and utilities free) available at no charge on a live in basis.

Childcare Duties and Responsibilities:

- Care for child’s needs when parents are at work
- Supervise her activities; walk to school and back
- Cook simple meals, make packed lunches and ensure that child has her meals on time;
- Tend to emotional well being of child.
- Perform light housekeeping chores around child’s needs and do her laundry, fold and keep away her clothes.
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Keep child’s living and play areas neat and clean, hygienic and organized.
- Maintain a safe, secure and organized home environment for child
Start DateAs soon as possible
Salary$14.00 To $16.00 per hour for a 30 hour work week
CredentialsRecent First Aid/CPR Certification would be nice to have.... but NOT an absolute requirement.
Education RequirementsCompletion of Canadian High School, Canadian High School Diploma or equivalent education from elsewhere.
Essential SkillsMust have Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to cook simple healthy meals and prepare packed lunches. Must be warm, loving, kind, Honest, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, flexible, neat and clean and organized and must have initiative and be able to bond well with children and keep them safe and follow their routine.
ExperienceOne plus year of paid, relevant childcare work experience within the past three years.
LanguagesMust be fluent in English
Weight HandlingBe able to handle up to 9 kgs.
