| Description Experienced caregiver required for a young infant as he progresses into being a toddler. Job Duties - Supervising and tending to child - Bathing and dressing child - Sterilizing bottles, preparing formula or food, and feeding child - Putting child to sleep - Changing child's diapers - Maintaining a safe, healthy and peaceful environment for child - Nurturing the emotional well-being of child and supporting their development - Taking child for walks in stroller - Light housekeeping, cooking and laundry Employment Requirements - Three to five years of full-time work experience caring for a child in a professional environment, including at least one year of work experience caring for an infant and at least two years of work experience caring for a toddler - Friendly, warm and patient - Strong moral and ethical values - Scheduling flexibility, including the ability to work overtime, evenings and weekends, if needed - Ability to speak, read and understand English - Cooperative, including the willingness and ability to follow instructions - Completion of secondary school - Non-smoker Job Details - Private home work setting located in Victoria, British Columbia - At least $18 per hour (commensurate with experience) - 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9AM to 5PM) - September 2025 anticipated start date | |
