Network engineering is responsible for planning and building the infrastructure that will power the wireless technologies of tomorrow. You will gain experience in planning for capacity and coverage needs of Rogers wireless network, designing radio-frequency systems, and monitoring and optimizing network performance on multiple technology layers (2G/3G/4G and 5G).

Program Design

As part of the program, successful candidates will participate in 3 job rotations over 12 months. Rotational plans are designed to tap into your personal and professional development. You will also be paired with a mentor and coach!

Education RequirementsA recent grad (graduated between 2021 – 2022) or be expecting to graduate by May 2022 with a degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Engineering Physics or equivalent.
ExperiencePassionate about wireless technology

Familiar with radio propagation theory, radio transmitter and receiver circuits, cellular system principles and two-way land mobile communication, familiar with cloud technology, familiar with programming languages such as Python, SQL and JavaScript, familiar with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, familiar with power BI and able to create dashboards

Work SettingsCurrently WFH due to COVID, moving to hybrid model when safe to do so, roughly 3 days a week in office
