We are looking for an Indigenous Cultural Safety Initiatives Lead to be part of Fraser Health’s Aboriginal Health Program to ensure Indigenous perspectives, knowledges, and approaches to wellness are honoured across the Fraser Region.

In this position your primary responsibilities include:
• Supporting the commitment to advance cultural humility and cultural safety within Fraser Health (FH).
• Ongoing development, implementation and evaluation of the organization’s Cultural Safety initiatives with the goal of enhancing the organization’s capacity to deliver health services in a culturally safe and equitable manner.
• Provide leadership, coordination, facilitation and support on assigned Cultural Safety initiatives.
• Act as the point of contact for assigned initiatives by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Education and experience required:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant health care discipline
• Three (3) to six (6) years’ recent, related project leadership, clinical and/or progressive leadership experience
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

This full-time position is located in Surrey, BC with access to public transit, restaurants and other amenities.
