Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation Multiple Locations There are currently two (2) full-time permanent positions available. Senior Policy Analyst A dynamic role for a skilled analyst with excellent research and communication skills The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation is responsible for British Columbia's electricity, alternative energy, mining and petroleum resource sectors, and supporting work to meet BC's greenhouse gas reduction targets. As the Senior Policy Analyst, you will coordinate and lead the research, analysis, development and implementation of strategic policies, programs and legislation in support of low carbon transportation. Qualifications for this role include: - A Master's Degree in economics, science, public administration, business administration, social sciences or equivalent and 2 years of related experience; OR - A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of related experience Related experience must include: - Experience in the development of legislation, regulation and policy. - Experience in planning and coordinating complex projects/assignments. - Experience in concisely and persuasively writing a range of documents/content. | |
Salary | $75,552.53 - $86,175.83 annually plus 3.3% Temporary Market Adjustment |
