Please look at our website to see our past projects and capabilities. www.pkmetal.com Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day Benefits: Medical, Dental and Pension Plan Vacancies: 1 Skill Requirements: The Metal Processor will be responsible to assist the equipment operators in the steel processing area and perform repetitive operations. It is incumbent on the helper to develop his skills under the guidance of the veteran machine operators to become an independent operator in all of the below listed areas. The Metal Processor is also to keep the work areas clean, swept and crop plate and tools neatly organized. Major Work Area: Metal Processing Type of Equipment: Shears, Cutting torches, Grinders, Drills, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines Area of Specialization: Structural metal or steel, Platework Specific Skills: Lay out reference points and patterns, Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, Construct patterns and templates Additional Skills: Read blueprints Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning | |
