| The Day Care / Head Start Program Manager assumes all responsibility for the administrative, financial reporting and personnel management capacities of the Head Start/Day Care Program; defines and enforces all policies and procedures to conform with the Day Nursery Act provisions, Head Start Principles and Guidelines and Band Council directives; ensures the health and safety of children while at the program. | |

| Credentials | • Infant/Toddler Care & Guidance Certificate • Resource Intervention/ Certificate • Training in the High/Scope Educational Philosoph |
| Education Requirements | • Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators |
| Experience | • 2-5 years’ experience providing licensed child care and working knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act 2014. • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate • Valid driver's license |
