The opportunity We are seeking a skilled mechanical technician who will apply their skills and aptitude to repair, install, troubleshoot, perform planned maintenance and corrective tasks on pipeline valves, actuators, pumps, motors, mixers and other related components. The successful incumbent will perform isolations, drain downs and flooding of assets, troubleshooting of mechanical issues as well as issue escalation, oil changes seal changes and provide feedback to the maintenance plan.
The successful candidate will operate and maintain oil pipelines facilities and auxiliary equipment in a manner to meet operational needs in compliance with company and regulatory requirements and may be required to perform tasks from other disciplines. This position is based out of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and will report to the West Country Area Manager.
