BC Public Service Ministry of Children and Family Development Dease Lake Team Leader, Integrated Services Consider leading a team dedicated to strong relational practice and empowering community capacity Salary $76,442.17 - $87,354.80 annually plus $80.72 Bi-Weekly Isolation Allowance This location is currently eligible for a retention incentive which is available to all regular permanent Social Program Officers residing in Hard To Recruit (HTR) designated communities across the province. The Integrated Services team based in Dease Lake is looking for a community-oriented, mindful Team Leader to join them and the constellation of other community and professional supports as they collaborate and cooperate with children, youth and families to uncover possibilities to empower them in their resilience. This Team Leader of Integrated Services position works with diverse community partners to deliver child welfare, permanency planning and resource services within Dease Lake, Atlin, Telegraph Creek, Iskut, Good Hope Lake and the Lower Post. This position is fundamental in providing leadership and coordination of a multi-disciplinary and culturally safe approach to service delivery, working collaboratively, cooperatively and creatively with community partners. Qualifications for this role include: • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Child and Youth Care; OR • Master's Degree in Educational Counselling Psychology/Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with completion of a practicum in family and child welfare. Completion of a practicum in family and child welfare occurs in an agency/organization where a student had the opportunity to practice assessing the needs of children and families to develop and provide intervention services to the children and/or families; OR • Employee applicants who have a combination of relevant education, Ministry experience and who are eligible for delegation under the CFCSA may be considered equivalent to the above requirements; OR • Related degree, or related post-graduate diploma, or related post-graduate certificate in a human services field PLUS a minimum of two years of post-degree *related experience. Related education includes Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Anthropology, Early Childhood Education, Theology, Indigenous Studies, Education, or Nursing. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. | |
