| Instructor, Health Care Aide Program (Term) Interlake and Peguis Fisher Campus Position Location: Interlake Campus/Selkirk, MB (40km outside of Winnipeg, MB) 4 Part-Time, Term Positions Available Anticipated August 26, 2019 up to March 31, 2020 Possibility of an Extension This competition may be used to establish a 12 month eligibility list of qualified candidates for future vacancies. Duties: Red River College Interlake and Peguis Fisher River Campus requires Instructors for the following locations: Selkirk, Stonewall, Powerview-Pine Falls, Gimli and Arborg for teaching, supervision and guidance of students in both classroom and practicum settings. This will include; maintaining student records, student evaluation, development and adherence to the delivery schedule within an allocated time, attendance at scheduled meetings, ensuing curriculum content is consistent with the parent program and other professional duties related to instruction." REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Registered Nurse with license currently in good standing within Manitoba - Significant and relevant experience working as a nurse - Experience in the area of holistic care and meeting the needs of at risk patients - Experience providing presentations in a group setting - Exceptional verbal communication skills - Excellent interpersonal skills - Exceptional written communication skills - Excellent conflict resolutions skills - Values Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Commitment to lifelong learning ASSET QUALIFICATIONS - Experience instructing at a post-secondary level - Experience training others in health related topics CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT - Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada - This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends - This position may be required to travel - Incumbent must hold a valid College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Certificate - Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including a Vulnerable Persons Sector Check - Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Adult Abuse Registry Check | |
