YOUR ROLE The Advisor, Pension and Benefits will play a critical role in the management of the various pension and benefits plans for all PSP employees globally, as well as the development, implementation and deployment of new programs based on the team's strategic priorities. This position requires subject matter expertise while possessing strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple complex projects and processes simultaneously, and a commitment to supporting the organization's objectives through competitive total rewards strategies. As an Advisor, Pension and Benefits your main responsibilities will be as follows: * Oversee the ongoing management of various global pension and benefits plans, evaluate their effectiveness, and propose relevant changes to improve efficiency and employee experience * Benchmark the competitiveness of all global pension and benefit plans, including defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, in line with operational and organizational objectives. This includes market surveillance, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources, summarizing findings, and proposing recommendations * Lead the annual renewal process for all global benefit plans assigned to this position. This includes coordinating with external actuaries and brokers, negotiating with insurers, modeling the financial implications, and preparing relevant communications for employees * Stay informed of legislative changes and compliance requirements impacting various global pension and benefit plans * Plan, organize, and develop regular and targeted communications to employees, based on data received from various vendors, while ensuring alignment with the team's desired goals and outcomes * Establish and manage strong relationships with various external vendors, using his influence to resolve all escalated requests. Evaluate and manage these vendors, and define appropriate service level agreements * Independently prepare pension and benefit reports and presentations * Create global tracking tools for various items such as pension and benefit costs, premiums, and consulting fees * Provide support and expertise to other members of the HR team on various pension and benefits issues * Improve processes by challenging results and identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions, and documenting new and existing procedures and practices to ensure consistency and compliance * Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and ad-hoc deliverables within the Total Rewards team WHAT YOU'LL NEED * Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, human resources, business administration or a related field of study * Professional designation in actuarial, human resources, compensation or benefits management (CIAA, FCIA, CEBS, etc.) is an asset * A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting firm or international organization, is an asset * Experience managing complex programs, stakeholders and processes * Ability to work in a constantly changing environment with flexibility and a high level of autonomy * Exceptional written, verbal, and creative communication skills * Demonstrates a high level of discretion, professionalism and integrity * Strong organizational skills, managing competing priorities while meeting deadlines * Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from data and structure results effectively * Ability to work collaboratively, cultivating meaningful relationships with colleagues and stakeholders * Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, as well as other tools from the MS Office suite * Fluency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa) We offer a tailored employee experience and competitive total rewards and benefits package* designed to attract and retain global diverse talent, reward performance, and reinforce business strategies and priorities.
