Job duties: • Lead the ropes department in making three-dimensional climbing nets, partner with the engineering department, lead the training of the rope department in making three-dimensional ropes; • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers who assemble, fabricate and inspect three-dimensional climbing nets; • Determine methods to meet work schedules and manage work activities with other departments; • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality; • Order necessary supplies and materials; • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies; • Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions; • Elaborate production and other reports; • May set up machines and equipment; • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards; • Operate machines that produce twine, ropes or nets; • Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. | |
| Salary | $ 23.00 / Hour For 40 hours per week |
| Education Requirements | Bachelor’s degree; engineering or mathematics backgrounds preferred |
| Experience | Minimum 2 years net maker assistant/apprentice for commercial playground climbing nets and minimum of 5 years’ experience as three-dimensional net maker for commercial playground climbing nets. |

| Work Settings | Physically demanding; repetitive tasks; manual dexterity; attention to detail; ability to distinguish between colours. Noisy work environment. |
| Additional Skills | • Matrix or spatial net marker – three-dimensional climbing nets. • Able to work on feet for full working period; able to assist with proper packaging for international shipment; knowledge of minimum safe requirements under playground safety standards; able to assist with future product development. |
