Barr-Ag Ltd of Olds, AB requires a full time Farm Supervisors for their crop farming operation. Duties will include:

Location: 33115 Range Road 10A, Olds, AB

Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Large workload, Overtime required

Work Location Information: Rural area

Work Site Environment: Dusty, Outdoors

Personal Suitability: Organized, Team player

Additional Skills: Maintain work records and logs, Perform general farm duties, Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Sprayer or duster, Tractor, Seed drill, Fertilizer applicator, Harvesters
Type of Farm Operations: Hay farming, Grain, oil and forage crop

Agricultural Service Contractors Specific Skills: Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting

Farm Supervisors Specific Skills: Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, Maintain quality control and production records, Develop work schedules and establish procedures
