| New Field Education Group was founded in New Zealand in 2002, headquartered overseas in Hangzhou, China. The core business operation of the group is providing integrated education service and support to the Chinese students. We are looking for a permanent full-time Student Services Counsellor to perform the following job duties: • Advising international students in issues related to application, admission, program and course selection, registration, transfer, and graduation procedure; • Assist students throughout application and registration process into the program; • Organizing student orientation programs and providing academic information to prospective students and / or their parents; • Coordinate custodianship and homestay program and after-landing services for international students; • Liaise among international students, school personnel (teachers, faculty, counselors), and students’ families to monitor, address and help develop international student’s academic, social, and behavioral performance inside and outside of school; • Counseling students regarding career or vocational issues including career exploration and planning, resume preparation, job interview skills and job search strategies and make available to them a wide range of educational and occupational information; • Counseling students regarding personal and social issues such as substance abuse, depression, sexuality, eating disorders, anxiety, self-esteem, family problems, relationship and interpersonal skills and anger management; • Perform other duties as reasonably assigned. | |
| Salary | $34.50 Per Hour For A Minimum Of 30 Hours Per |
| Education Requirements | Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration or other related area. |
| Experience | 1-2 years industry experience |
| Languages | Fluency In Written And Verbal English |
