Our Long Harbour, NL location is currently looking for InSite Coordinator to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Assign staged equipment to be utilized in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Create the day and/or night shift schedule utilizing WIN Web Dispatch Application.
  • Ensure in-plant staged equipment (pick-ups, rack trucks, steamer trucks, vacuum trucks, roll-offs, pressure washers, etc.) is   properly   permitted and maintained for operation
  • Work closely with shift Supervisor to direct in-plant personnel in the operational procedures to complete assignments and understand the manpower and equipment requirements to complete in-plant service projects.
  • Act as office liaison for the in-plant service personnel on shift and determine which projects to assign personnel to work on any given shift
  • Inspection, service and repair of assigned staged equipment at the site and ensure the status of equipment is updated in the dispatch   application.
  • Maintain a proper inventory of equipment and supplies for current workloads. Interface with the customer   in a professional and effective manner to update them on the project status and/or to resolve problems/issues, when asked to do so.
  • Acquire additional appropriate ad hoc equipment from local service center to support additional priority service requests
  • Proper completion of vehicle inspections and equipment inspections.
  • Ensure proper communication to the supervisor to confirm that contractual obligations are met to complete requested services, project progression status and change orders are completed and executed, prior to any additional work being performed.
  • Ensure the customer acknowledges change orders.
  • Provide lead-type direction of equipment operators and laborers with shift supervisors.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

What does it take to work for Clean   Harbors?  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree in environmental studies preferred.
  • 2+ years field service operations experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Industrial Service equipment and supplies.
  • Leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Results, Building Effective Teams, Developing Direct Reports, and Negotiating.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications.
