Youth Custody Services provides secure and open sentenced custody, remand and pre-court detention for youth under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Youth Justice contributes to public safety by promoting the development of law-abiding behaviour primarily through an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach.

As a Nurse, you are a member of the interdisciplinary team and provide comprehensive nursing care to youth in custody under the general direction of the Health Care Services Supervisor, or Correctional Supervisor. You consult with youth, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team and develop individual plans supporting needs of youth in custody.

Qualifications for this role include:

- Registered with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM); OR
- Eligible to register with the British Columbia college of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
- Level 2 OFA (must be completed upon appointment)
Salary$63,647.20 - $83,539.24 annually
