Are you passionate about supporting community members and enhancing social development? K'omoks First Nation is seeking a dedicated Social Development Coordinator to create and deliver impactful programs and services! This dynamic role offers you the chance to make a real difference in our community while fostering collaborative relationships with staff and departments.

What You'll Do:
- Develop and manage the annual budgets for our Social Development programs, including Income Assistance.
- Determine eligibility needs and provide resource referrals to help applicants navigate available support.
- Ensure timely processing of Income Assistance requisitions and maintain accuracy according to policy guidelines.
- Facilitate understanding of the Social Development Program by interpreting policies and making appropriate referrals for counseling and support.
- Build partnerships with employment agencies to create job opportunities for community members and assist clients with job referrals.
- Coordinate the Assisted Living Program, ensuring support services align with budget and policy requirements.
- Establish and engage a Child, Youth and Family Committee to shape services through community input and research.

Who We're Looking For:
If you possess strong leadership skills and thrive in a team environment, we want to hear from you! Ideal candidates will have post-secondary education in Social Work or Human Services, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering social service programs. You should be well-versed in budget management and skilled in building respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders. Cultural sensitivity and knowledge of the Indigenous governance landscape in BC are essential.
