| Established in 1987, General Tool & Die has a long history of designing, building and maintaining tools for stamper's in Southern Ontario and the surrounding region. We strongly believe in keeping all phases of a tools build process in-house whenever possible, so that we have complete and full control over the quality of workmanship being put into the tool. The tools we build have ranged from the simplest single station hand-transfer blanking dies to complex multi-station progressive dies featuring double-action cam stations and more. We are in need of skilled CNC machinist to maintain and grow our operation to the next phase in providing excellent services to our clients. |

| Education Requirements | Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience. |
| Essential Skills | Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Set up and adjust production machineries/tools, Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports, Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces, Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments |
| Experience | 2 years or more CNC machinist experience. |
