| We are seeking a full-time in-home caregiver nanny for two young children aged 2 years and 4 years. Duties include ensuring a safe and healthy environment in the home; bathing, dressing and changing of children; preparing nutritious meals, snacks and bottles; engaging and overseeing indoor and outdoor activities, including walks, games, music and books; accompany children to daily activities or nursery school; general cleaning and laundry; and tend to the emotional and physical wellbeing of the children. Because of our relative isolation from medical professionals (on an island where no immediate health care is available), a capacity to care and tend to minor childhood illnesses is required. Personal suitability: responsible, mature, communicative, sociable, flexible, compassionate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. References required. Position is open to Canadians and those eligible to work in Canada. Terms: Flexible work hours required, with occasional evenings and weekends. Benefits: medical insurance coverage in British Columbia will be provided. | |
