| Location: Central Vancouver Island, BC Job Reference #: MSLS_1806 Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $25-$28 per hour D.O.E. Reporting to the Mining Lab Manager, this position supervises lab technicians within the mining lab. In addition to supervisory duties, the Mining Lab Supervisor is expected to perform duties relating to preparation and processing of ore samples, including sample preparation, Wet Assay and Fire Assay analysis and other analytical processes as required. Training will be provided in Vancouver main laboratory. This position is based in a mine site facility & will follow a staggered work schedule. Experience and Qualifications • Min. college or diploma in Chemistry/Science • Min. 1-2 years' experience • Fire Assay, AA and ICP-OES instrument • Handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs • Familiarity with chemicals/lab procedures • Occupational health/safety regulations • Experience with computer operations | |
